Here I am more than three months later and I have not posted any pictures!! Well, I guess it's time for some cyberspace ketchup - or I mean catch up! Some day I'll find the time to it in everything I want to accomplish in one day- including posting pictures to my blogs. So, I'm going to try to keep a little blog diary of my work and life as a photographer. I'll start by posting this picture of a couple I photographed a couple of weeks ago in Hinckley. Craig and Connie Minowa are a part of an up and coming band called Cloud Cult. But the bigger part of their own personal story is that they lost their son Kaidin six years ago. Kaidin had just turned two years old when he dies suddenly in his sleep, which really hit home since I photographed the Minowa's just a couple of days before Henry's (my son) 2nd birthday. I photographed Connie and Craig at their piano which is adorned with pictures and memories of Kaidin, including his muddy shoes. I really enjoyed spending time with Cloud Cult and meeting the Minowa's. Stories like this make me feel so fortunate to be a photographer. To be able to meet and photograph people and share their stories is such a privilege. Many thanks to Cloud Cult and Craig, Connie and Kaidin too.
